Clinton invokes “senior moment” excuse
Bill Clinton that is, in defense/excuse of his lovely wife; rehashing her Bosnia trip “misstatement.”
“You woulda thought, you know, that she’d robbed a bank the way they carried on about this. And some of them, when they’re 60, they’ll forget something when they’re tired at 11:00 at night, too.“
So while Grandpa McCain (although an entire frickin decade older than the Clintons) seeks to avoid senior moments and looking like a old helpless bastard, Clinton gladly invokes the senior moment excuse to slide out of what was a somewhat rested issue. Grandpa only wishes he was still 60 and enjoyed the luxury of even joking about getting old cuz it’s not funny now; that was so 1990’s.
The ironic thing about this deal is Clinton apparently had his own senior moment while telling peps Hill ain’t no bank robber (she specializes in cattle futures and land deals, duh).
President Clinton’s version of the story has several inaccuracies. Hillary Clinton actually made the exaggerated comments numerous times, including at an event in Dubuque, Iowa on Dec. 29th, in Waco, TX on Feb. 29th, and twice — bright and early in the morning — on March 17.
Sen. Clinton also wasn’t as quick with her apology as President Clinton may remember either. In fact, it took a week for her to eventually correct herself.
President Clinton also indicated that his wife’s trip took place in 1996 – when it fact it took place in 1995.
Oh and Bill Clinton got tickled too! Wonder who the “lucky” women was this time, this needs vetted! He says it in such a confessional manner:
